Our Club

Rotarians are business and professional leaders who take an active role in their community while greatly enriching their personal and professional lives. The Rotary Club of St. Charles-Geneva is a diverse group of community volunteers and professional leaders, representing businesses, nonprofits and government agencies serving the two communities of St. Charles and Geneva.

The Rotary Club of St. Charles-Geneva (originally named the St. Charles Breakfast Rotary Club) was officially chartered by Rotary International on January 12, 1987, and celebrated its 39th anniversary in 2026. The St. Charles Breakfast Rotary merged with the Rotary Club of Geneva in 2024. Geneva's club was chartered in 1965.

Membership in the Rotary Club of St. Charles-Geneva offers many benefits, including:
• effecting change within Kane County and the Geneva and St. Charles areas

• advancing professional contacts and making lasting friendships

• learning about our community and developing leadership skills

• understanding and impacting local and international humanitarian issues

Over its history, the club has engaged in local and global initiatives—such as supporting Habitat for Humanity (Northern Fox Valley) building projects and local environmental clean-up days, installing community bike racks (including at Whole Foods in St. Charles), organizing annual Koats for Kids drives, and participating in international efforts like World Polio Day awareness
